[Audio Podcast] Indonesia’s Presidential Debate: Unemployment and Poverty (Part II)

Compared to the previous presidential debate, I think this second debate is much better. Last night, the debate was moderated by Aviliani and brought “Unemployment and Poverty” as topic. If you did not have a chance to watch the debate on TV, you can download the audio podcast files here.

The file size is bigger, so I think it’s recommended to download them first.

[Audio Podcast - Part 2]: Indonesia’s vice-presidential debate

This is the second part of first Indonesia’s vice president debate. Anyway, I recorded the audio from Metro TV. During and after the debate, Metro TV has Najwa Shihab in the studio together with the supporters.

[Audio Podcast - Part 1]: Indonesia’s vice-presidential debate

On June 23, Indonesia’s three vice presidential candidates — Prabowo Subianto, Boediono and Wiranto — addressed the issue of national identity in a debate. It was the first VP debate. The debate was moderated by Prof Dr Komarudin Hidayat and hosted by SCTV. There are some audio files you can download and I will split them into two posts.

Presidential Debate (First Round)

Yesterday, there was a presidential debate organized by the General Elections Commission (KPU). It is scheduled that the same debates will be held on June 18, June 23, and July 2. I was late watching the debates. I only watched the third segment. The debate was moderated by Anis Baswedan. Anyway, there will be vice presidential debates on June 25 and June 30.

I think it wasn’t a “debate”. It was more like vision and mission presentation. Curious about the next two debates. Can we have more than this, KPU? Here are the audio podcasts of the debate if you’re interested (only the third segment).

Michael Fincke (Expedition 18 commander) and Greg Chamitoff (flight engineer) will beam their vote from the International Space Station as they fly 220 miles (354 km) above Earth.

How they vote from the space?
The County Clerk’s office prepares a secure electronic ballot that is then relayed to the International Space Station via NASA’s Mission Control room at the Johnson Space Center. Meanwhile, the Clerk’s Office sends a separate e-mail to the astronaut with login information to access the ballot and vote.
