Movable Type Trackback Spam

Today (not only today I think), I received quite numbers of trackback spams. I think this is one of the problems bloggers’ (and weblog developers) have to deal with. Matt has wrote about this issue, related to WordPress. Ikhlasul Amal also pointed this issue when I had conversation with him.

About the comment spam, MT-Blacklist works great in dealing the comment spams. And the additional field I put here also works fine (I think). If you were using Movable Type, there is an interesting article about Secret Tag Implementation for Movable Type.

Now, about the trackback spams, I close my weblog comment and trackbacks for entries older than 10 days. Before, I only close comments on old entries. And, I temporary remove my mt-tb.cgi (sorry, no trackbacks right now).

Well, read also what Elise wrote about trackback spam issue if you’re interested in this matter. You will find some nice resources there.

Cut! Another topic please…

Right now, I am quite busy. Together with my friends, I am preparing an event. I hope everything will be just fine. It will be in next April.
I also working on some sheets to translate. Fiewh! It is interesting, but in the same time, it is tiring. I hope I can finish that right on time.

Have a super day all! Ciao!

Update Feb 10:
I am playing around (again and again… huhuhuh) with the templates. And I haven’t finished all pages.
