Tumblelog (again) using Tumblr Feb 02, 2009 // 1:14 am

Two years ago (woot! two years?) I tried to start a tumblelog. You can read my old post about tumblelog. It was using Movable Type. And, I left it without updates.

Few days ago, I went back to Tumblr and decided to create a tumblelog again. I want to use Tumblr for some reasons: I don’t want to deal with Movable Type, WordPress or Textpattern to create my tumblelog. Not because those platforms can’t do the work, but because I only want to post. Another reason is that I like Tumblr after I tried it for few hours, exploring its features.

So, here’s my new tumblelog, using Tumblr with custom domain name. It’s not mine anyway, because Lala will also post there. I only made some theme modifications — adding Tumblr theme tags and editing sytlesheet and its HTML. The result? It’s here: http://tumblelog.orangescale.com

Well, I’m not making tumblelog using a self-installed platform for some reason. The main reason is because I do not want to get busy maintaining it. :)

And, the most important thing is that Tumblr works great. :D
