You may have heard that Google will launch its very own web browser shortly. It’s called Google Chrome. Currently, I already have some browsers installed, but Google Chrome seems promising. Here is what its developers said:
On the surface, we designed a browser window that is streamlined and simple. To most people, it isn’t the browser that matters. It’s only a tool to run the important stuff — the pages, sites and applications that make up the web. Like the classic Google homepage, Google Chrome is clean and fast. It gets out of your way and gets you where you want to go.
It’s said that Google Chrome combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier.
I’m curious about how it looks like. Google Blogoscoped provides some informative screenshots and other supporting details. The download link is not available yet, but it seems that it will be available at http://gears.google.com/chrome/ And, don’t forget to read Google Chrome Comic Book.
