I got my Yahoo! Mail unlimited storage Jun 02, 2007 // 2:18 am

Yahoo! Unlimited

There is something a little bit different when I logged into my Yahoo! Mail account. I saw an alert informing that Yahoo! now offers an unlimited email storage. Around two months ago, I heard this plan at Yodel Anecdotal.

I got my unlimited email storage yesterday, I think. This is a good news, and I will use my Yahoo! account on my daily basis. For now, I use Gmail more often than Yahoo! Mail. I wish Yahoo! also offers POP access, it’s more “useful” than unlimited storage. 1 GB is more than enough, for me.

Agree indeed. I think the unlimited storage is great except they have not POP or IMAP feauture.. or you wanna upgrade your account?

But Gmail is still the best. Yahoo Mail ? I hate Yahoo Ads and Web 2.0 function that need screen resolution at least 1024 x 800 px.

Unless Yahoo! will spend time to make their user interface better, this improvement seems only a hype. Handling giga or tera capacity will be a nightmare using current Yahoo! classic interface and their new interface will not help so much to address user experience on “forcing” their web into Outlook-like.

Hey, I still use forward facility from Yahoo! For security reason, I try to not use POP.

I ignore my Yahoo mail since it’s been full with spams and hoax. I still keep the account for messenger only. For me, so far, Gmail is still the best one.

Agreed on Gmail. You only need more space at Yahoo Mail so it CAN FILL UP WITH SPAM!!

Hmm, I’m using Yahoo and Google.
On Yahoo, I’m just using it for Messenger because YM! is more nicely than GTalk. But for email, i’m using the Google Apps for my domain.
